This weekend, my boyfriend and I seized the opportunity presented to us by Brisbane's unseasonably warm winter to do some outside adventuring. This included driving down the coast, through NSW, to Snapper Rocks and Duranbah beach. Followed by an afternoon picnic at New Farm Park

I recently stumbled across Melbournian photographer Brooke Holm by stumbling across her instagram. Brooke photographs a variety of subjects from fashion, to nature, to food and interiors. Her photographs particularly appealed to me due to their use of soft lighting, bright colours, and stunning natural scenery.

New city, new blog

Image and video hosting by TinyPic [Photo of yours truly, taken by Michael

At the end of June I made the move from Hobart, on the great southern isle of Tasmania, 2000km up north to Brisbane, Queensland, Australia's tropical, "sunshine" state. As a result I thought now was a better time than any to start up a 'proper' blog, i.e. one in which I post about my own personal life experiences. It's a work in progress, and I'm not too sure if the internet needs another middle class 20 something white girl blog. But here goes regardless..
